My journey to this work has been anything but traditional: I’ve spent decades following my curiosity across disciplines — from documentary filmmaking to software engineering to career coaching.
I’ve studied Vipassana meditation, beekeeping, and even rock climbing. I’ve worked as an English teacher, tractor mechanic, radio DJ, and warehouse manager. And through it all, one constant has remained: I love helping people unlock their potential.
I scored in the 99th percentile on the GMAT, LSAT, and GRE and spent years leading test prep, training teachers, and developing products. Over time, I realized the real magic wasn’t just in beating standardized tests — it was in helping people tell their stories and transform their futures.

My Story: From Music to MBA Admissions Coach
When I was a kid, my dream job was simple: I wanted to be a wizard.
Wizards are wise, adventurous, curious — and deeply invested in helping others on their quests.
It turns out, that’s not far from what I do today.
Over the years, I’ve lived in a house full of musicians, hitchhiked across Mexico, performed jazz in Thailand, built software, and sold millions of dollars’ worth of watermelons (yes, really).
Through it all, I’ve stayed deeply interested — and that interest now fuels the work I do with MBA applicants from all over the world.
Helping people find clarity, tell their stories, and shape their futures is the real magic — and it’s what I’ve dedicated my career to doing.
