Version 2.0. Last updated November 1, 2026.

These terms apply when you use any site run by Career Protocol LLC, the company behind MBA Protocol, Happy at Work, MBAmo, Interview Hero, Communicate Yourself and Humble Overachievers: careerprotocol.com, mbaprotocol.com, happyatwork.com, mbamo.com, interviewhero.com, communicateyourself.com, humbleoverachievers.com, humbleoverachievers.club, angelaguido.com, friendmo.com, generousmode.com and their subdomains. By using our sites, or buying anything from us, you agree to them.

Some products come with their own terms, such as the MBA Guided Quest Terms of Purchase, or the conditions on a product's page. Where those say something different from this page, they win.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

1. Using our sites

You need to be at least 18 to buy from us or create an account. Logins are personal: please don't share yours, and keep your password safe.

Please use our sites the way they're meant to be used. That means no hacking, no attempts to get around paywalls or access limits, no spam, and no automated scraping or copying of our pages, tools or results, including to feed or train AI systems.

2. Our content

Everything on our sites and in our products (articles, guides, frameworks, templates, toolkits, videos, recordings, tools and their results) belongs to Career Protocol LLC. Career Protocol, The Career Protocol and Happy at Work are our registered trademarks.

You're welcome to read, use and download our content for your own application or career. You may not copy, share, resell, republish or adapt it, or let anyone else use what you bought, without our written permission. Please don't put our paid materials into any AI tool, model or service; uploading them counts as sharing them.

By buying from us, you confirm that you're buying for your own use and that you don't sell MBA admissions consulting, career coaching or test preparation, and won't use our materials to do so. Breaking any of these rules ends your access without a refund, and we may take further action to protect our work.

3. Buying from us

Prices and delivery

Prices are shown at checkout. Digital products are delivered by email or through your account as soon as payment goes through. Card statements show Career Protocol.

Refunds

Each product page says whether and when a refund is available, and that page is the rule for that product. Downloads and digital tools are final once you've accessed them. Coaching packages follow their own Terms of Purchase.

Coaching sessions and toolkits

Power Hours, interview coaching and similar sessions must be used within the time stated on the product page. Toolkit access lasts for the period in the Toolkit Terms of Purchase. Unused sessions and expired access aren't refundable.

Payment plans

Where we offer a payment plan, it's a courtesy: we split the price for you, and keeping a valid card on your plan in Stripe is your responsibility. If an installment is missed, access pauses and the whole remaining balance becomes due; we'll send you a link to pay it. Buying on a plan is a commitment to the full price.

If you live in the EU or the UK

You have the right to cancel most purchases within 14 days. For digital content, by asking for immediate access at checkout you agree that this right ends once you've accessed it. For services you asked us to start straight away, if you cancel within the 14 days you pay for what we've delivered up to then. To cancel, email [email protected] or use the form at https://careerprotocol.com/withdrawal/. Coaching packages have the details in their Terms of Purchase.

4. Our community

Our client and applicant community lives on Mighty Networks, whose own terms also apply there. Please use your real name, be kind, treat what other members share as confidential, and don't sell, spam or recruit. We can remove posts or members who break these rules. Our community and members-only events are for applicants and clients. If you sell MBA admissions consulting, career coaching or test preparation, please don't join; we can remove anyone who does.

Free webinars and public events

Our free webinars, MBA Momentum Club events and other events open to the public are recorded. By joining one, you agree that we may record it and use the recording, including your name, image, voice and anything you say or type in the chat, to share our teaching and promote our work, without payment to you. This applies to everyone who attends, clients included; the confidentiality our clients get covers client-only sessions, not public events. If you'd rather not appear, keep your camera and microphone off and use a display name you're comfortable with. Please don't record, screenshot or share other attendees yourself.

Anything said in comments, posts or events is the speaker's own view, not necessarily ours.

5. What you send us

If you send us feedback, ideas, or insights into a school's process (like an interview debrief), you give us a permanent, free, worldwide license to use, adapt and publish them, with your name removed unless you've agreed otherwise. Testimonials are published only in your own words, and only with your permission.

6. Other sites

We link to other sites and embed tools and videos from other companies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. No guarantees

Our content and tools are educational. MBAmo results, quiz results, AI-assisted features and our guides are estimates and opinions, not promises; please check anything you rely on. Your results depend on your own profile, effort and choices, and admissions and hiring decisions are made by schools and employers we don't control, so we make no guarantee about any outcome. Our published success rates, and how we calculate them, are at https://mbaprotocol.com/articles/applying/mba-coaching/mba-success-rates-tracking/. Testimonials are real clients' own words about their own experience.

We sometimes quote or discuss material owned by others, such as school essay prompts or published reports, for commentary and teaching, which we believe is fair use. Beyond what a product's own terms promise, our sites and products are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind.

8. Limit of liability

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the product or service in question. This limit doesn't cover anything the law doesn't let us limit. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from your misuse of our sites or content.

9. Ending access

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse our sites, materials or community.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Updates apply from that date and don't change the terms of a purchase you've already made.

11. Law and disputes

Texas law governs these terms. If we have a dispute, we'll first try in good faith to resolve it by talking; if that fails, we'll try mediation, and if we can't get mediation going within a couple of months, the next step is the state or federal courts in Texas, which have exclusive jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought individually, not as part of a class or group action. Rights that the law where you live doesn't let us change by contract stay yours.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with any product-specific terms and our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement about your use of our sites.
