MBA Recruiters by School
Can I get to McKinsey from Foster? Does Nike hire from the schools on my list? This free lookup answers that for 6,262 employers and 26 top U.S. MBA programs, using the employer lists the schools publish themselves.
Start from a company
Type any part of an employer’s name. You’ll see every school that lists it, plus how many H-1B visas it has sponsored in the last three years.
Start from a school
See every employer on that school’s published list, with its sector and how many of the other schools list the same firm. Filter by sector or by H-1B record.
Tip: the address of this page changes as you pick a company or a school, so you can copy it and send someone straight to that result. Tool not showing? Open it on its own page.
How to read what you find
The firms everyone wants recruit almost everywhere. The interesting question is who hires narrowly.
Only 584 of 6,262 employers reach three or more of the 26 schools over the last 3 years. Amazon, Microsoft, BCG, Deloitte, McKinsey, and EY top out at 26 of 26; PwC and Bain are at 25. More than three quarters of the companies on these lists hired from just one school, and most likely just one MBA.
So if your target shows up at most of these schools, you can reach it from almost any of them. How many people it hires from each school is a different story: consulting takes 41% of the class at one school and 6% at another, so check the industry charts too. If your target appears at three schools or fewer, school choice is decisive.
Two things this tool can’t tell you. Reach is how many of the 26 schools list the company. It is not a count of hires. And schools don’t all disclose the same way: some publish a complete roster, some mix in summer interns, and a few publish only highlights. A company missing from a school’s list may have hired there and simply not been printed, so treat a listing as real information and a gap as a maybe. Employer 1 in the report shows how each school built its list.

What’s in the data
Everything in the tool comes from the employer lists each school publishes, name by name. Across the 26 schools that publish names, that’s 10,035 entries, which boil down to 6,262 distinct companies once you merge the different ways schools spell the same firm (BCG and Boston Consulting Group, and so on). Lining them up was a beatdown. We did it anyway.
To keep the comparison fair, we built each school’s list from its last three classes (2023, 2024 and 2025). For the McKinseys and Amazons of the world that’s rock solid, because those relationships don’t vanish in two years. Take the long tail of smaller firms with a grain of salt.
Three schools publish no names at all (cough, Stanford, cough), which is why Stanford, Georgia Tech and Arizona State aren’t in the tool.
If you need a visa: the H-1B column
Every employer in the tool carries its sponsorship record from the USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub, fiscal years 2024 to 2026 (FY2026 is partial). We sorted them into tiers:
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| Anchor | 600 or more new H-1B approvals over the three years |
| Moderate | 30 to 599 new approvals |
| Thin | 1 to 29 new approvals |
| No record | No approved new-employment petition found under that name |
Just over one in four of the employers on these schools’ lists has sponsored an H-1B in the last three years, and only 33 sit in the top tier. The good news is that the big sponsors recruit nearly everywhere: almost every school with a usable list has between 15 and 26 of the 33 on it.
A “no record” isn’t always a no. Roughly one such name in ten files under a different legal name. We matched every named employer against the USCIS records and cross-checked about 10 times using various matching methods. This was the hardest analysis in the report. Errors are still possible.
We are not lawyers or visa experts, and nothing on this page is legal advice. The rules are in motion. Read the Visas section of the report for how the system works today and what could change, and confirm anything that drives a decision with your school’s international student office or an immigration attorney.
Questions people ask
Which companies recruit at top MBA programs?
Across the 26 top U.S. MBA programs that publish employer names, 6,262 distinct companies appear on the Classes of 2023 to 2025 lists. Amazon, Microsoft, BCG, Deloitte, McKinsey and EY are listed by all 26; PwC and Bain by 25. Only 584 companies reach three or more schools, and more than three quarters appear on one school's list only. Pick a company above to see which schools list it.
How do I find out which business schools a company hires MBAs from?
Type the company's name into the lookup tool on this page, or open its page from the A to Z list below. You will see every school whose published employer list names it, the classes it was listed for, and its H-1B sponsorship record.
Which companies hire MBAs from a specific school, for example Kellogg or Darden?
Each of the 26 schools has a page here listing every employer on its published lists for the Classes of 2023 to 2025, by sector, with the H-1B record of each. Use "Browse by school" below or the school tab in the tool.
Which MBA employers sponsor H-1B visas?
Every employer in the tool carries its record from the USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub for fiscal years 2024 to 2026: Anchor (600 or more new approvals), Moderate (30 to 599), Thin (1 to 29) or none found. Just over one in four employers on these lists has at least one approval; 33 are Anchor sponsors, and almost every school with a usable list has between 15 and 26 of them on it.
Does a company missing from a school's list never hire there?
Not necessarily. Many schools publish only the employers that hired several graduates, and a few publish a hand-picked selection, so a firm that took one person may not appear. For the schools that publish a complete roster (Harvard, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Haas, Yale, UCLA Anderson, UNC, Vanderbilt Owen and Carlson, among others) a gap means more.
Where does this MBA recruiting data come from?
From each school's own published employment report or employer list for the Classes of 2023, 2024 and 2025: 10,035 entries, merged into 6,262 companies after matching the different spellings schools use for the same firm. H-1B records come from the USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub. The dataset is rebuilt every two years for the MBA Protocol Career Placement Report.
How should I use this when choosing MBA programs?
Write down the job you want after the MBA. Look up the companies that offer it. Then build your school list around the programs those companies show up at, and say so in your applications. A concrete path from that school to that job is the strongest career story you can tell.
