Wharton Mock

Invited to the Wharton Team-Based Discussion?

Ace the Wharton Team-Based Discussion

Congratulations on the invite. Now the worries start. Will I get a word in? Will I sound smart enough? Or so smart that I stop sounding like a teammate? Our live mock puts you in the room with other candidates and a coach who knows what Wharton is watching for, so you walk into the real one calm and ready.

What Wharton is watching for

Wharton wants the person others want to build with.

The sharpest voice in the room rarely gets that credit. The TBD is a live test of how you lead and collaborate with strangers, under time pressure. The mock trains exactly that.

Understand the game

What Wharton scores, and how to meet that bar. Once you see it clearly, the overthinking quiets down.

Contribute with purpose

How to enter the conversation, build on other people's ideas and disagree constructively.

Lead without dominating

Confident and collaborative, thoughtful and decisive, in the balance the room responds to.

Be memorable for the right reasons

No power plays and no disappearing acts. You leave a clear, positive impression on everyone at the table.

What's included

  • One full-length, Wharton-style Team-Based Discussion mock with other candidates
  • A coach trained in Wharton's evaluation criteria, watching live
  • Live, personal feedback on your contribution style, leadership signals, collaboration and listening, ideas and research, and your overall impact on the group
  • The TBD format and Wharton's evaluation criteria, broken down
  • Collaboration and group-dynamics frameworks
  • The common pitfalls that sink strong candidates
  • Bonus: Real Wharton Post-TBD Interview Insights, first-hand reflections from past interviewees
  • Access to the materials through March 31, 2027

It works with how you show up

Quiet, analytical, big-picture or fast-moving, your coach works with your natural style. You don't need to become someone louder. You need to know when and how to step in.

In their words

Got into Harvard

The interview skills I’ve gained in Career Protocol’s program have already opened many doors and I’m no longer nervous.

Despite a 610 GMAT, a state school background, work experience in only one company, and only applying to two programs because of my fear of being rejected everywhere, I got an acceptance from HBS and waitlisted post interview in the GSB in the most competitive MBA application year!

Got into Stanford

The only complication was that my Stanford alumni interviewer was General Motors CEO and Stanford Board of Trustees member, Mary Barra… Surely, Angela wouldn’t have any experience with that terrifying situation, right?

I can now proudly wear my “I learned to articulate my life’s purpose, and all I got was this lousy Stanford acceptance letter” t-shirt.

She helped me prep for all my interviews and video essays with several live mock interview sessions and made herself available on multiple occasions so I could run answers by her for specific questions I was preparing for.

I ended up with two acceptances (one M7 and one international w/ $) and one T15 waitlist.
