I found my coach in a pretty dark time where I was working with another full package consultant who was not delivering on the agreed terms, I was tanking the GRE, battling major discriminatory legal issues at work, and feeling overall depleted with less than 2 months to apply for R2.

The results after working with her for only a month at the tail end of my application process was, I got interview invites to 5 of the 6 programs I applied for (all T15 or above), and admission offers at 4 programs – including two M7s, and 150K in scholarship offers.

Got into Chicago Booth and Kellogg + 1 more

in 2021 I applied to MIT, Wharton, Harvard and Stanford with help of another admissions consultant.

Angela’s interview preparation was invaluable and contributed for my admissions at Booth (with a USD 40k merit scholarship), Kellogg, Berkeley and waitlist spot at Wharton / Lauder.

Got into Chicago Booth

I had worked with one of the “big name” MBA consulting firms on my applications, and while my consultant was helpful editing my essays for grammar and clarity, they didn’t push me on the real meat of my content.

When the phone call finally came informing me that I was admitted to Booth, the dark application clouds that had hung over my life for a solid two years parted – I made it!

Got into Kellogg

His standard 48-hour turnaround kept the momentum going, and he matched my pace perfectly – a stark contrast to the experience I had with the consultant from previous year.

A friend introduced me to Brian in May 2024 and rest is history – I’m thrilled to say I’m now admitted to Kellogg!

Got into Berkeley Haas and London Business School

My MBA admission process started with another consultant who was very discouraging because of my low GRE scores.

The bottom line: I got a scholarship of $70k at Haas and admission to my dream program at London Business School.

Luckily, CP’s MBA Catalyst program reversed and saved my very soured MBA process.

Class of 2026 Admit · worked with Angela

The year before I worked with another admissions consultant and felt no real connection when I was telling my story and my fears, I felt misunderstood.

I’m happy to say that I had a 100% hit-ratio. I was accepted into two amazing schools (both M7 MBAs), and I was offered a Merit based Scholarship from one of the two schools!

Just 10-15 minutes into our conversation, Angela was already able to put together a decent picture about me and tell me how to best position myself.

During our free consultation, what encouraged me to work with Angela was her candor, and fascinatingly accurate analysis of my profile, my key strengths and my required areas of focus!

Tell us about you, your scores (or no scores yet) and the schools on your list. You’ll hear where you stand, which schools make sense and what we’d do first.

Somebody saw it in them first.

Ask clients what they remember most, and it’s usually the moment someone believed them.

From the beginning, Angela made it clear that she believed in me and in my story, and in the fact that, with the proper application, I had a chance at my dream school - Wharton.

About these reviews

Where do they come from?

Clients wrote them on Poets&Quants, on GMAT Club, in notes to us and in the success stories they wrote for our site, starting in 2009. Where a review was posted publicly, the card links to it.

Do you edit them?

Almost never. We choose which sentence to show you, and every sentence is copied exactly, typos included. There are two exceptions. Where a client named a coach who has since moved on, the name now reads “my coach” (or she or he, as the client wrote it), and thank-you titles drop the name. Where a client named the company Angela worked for before, it now reads “the firm”.

Some reviews mention programs I can’t find. Why?

Some reviews mention programs we’ve since retired, like MBA Catalyst and MBA LFG. The coaching behind them is what we do today.

Some reviews say Career Protocol. Is that you?

Yes. MBA Protocol is part of Career Protocol, and older reviews use that name.

Did everyone get in?

No. Some stories here mention dings and waitlists, because those happened too.

Who are the coaches named on the cards?

The MBA Protocol coaching team. Where a client named their coach, the card says so and links to that coach’s page. You can meet the whole team on our About Us page.
