Questions about McDonough's recruiters

Which companies recruit MBAs at Georgetown McDonough?

Georgetown McDonough names 74 employers on its employer lists for the Classes of 2023 to 2025. The largest groups are Consulting (18), Financial Services (18) and Technology (7). The full list, by sector, is on this page.

Does Georgetown McDonough publish a complete list of its MBA employers?

Each year combines Georgetown’s short Top Employers list with its list of companies that hired a McDonough student in each of the last three years.

Do Georgetown McDonough's MBA employers sponsor H-1B visas?

56 of the 74 employers on McDonough's list (76%) have at least one approved new H-1B petition in fiscal years 2024 to 2026, and 17 are Anchor sponsors with 600 or more approvals in that window. The tier is shown next to every company above. A "none found" is not proof a company never sponsors: roughly one such name in ten files under a different legal name.

Does a company missing from this list never hire from McDonough?

Not necessarily. Each year combines Georgetown’s short Top Employers list with its list of companies that hired a McDonough student in each of the last three years. A company missing from the list may have hired below the school's cut-off or simply not been printed. Treat a listing as real information and a gap as a maybe, and ask the career office when it matters to your plan..

Where do McDonough MBAs actually work after graduation?

The report's Georgetown McDonough page shows the Class of 2025 by industry and job function, with placement rate, salary and signing bonus, and the Industries and Functions sections compare it with the other 28 schools.
